Minutes of Previous Meeting
The Minutes from the previous meeting were
accepted.
Matters Arising
A letter has been sent to Hardley School
regarding upgrading of facilities.
The last training session at Applemore for
the sprinters will be 22nd March 2005. The Thursday session
will carry on as normal at Southampton track.
For the long distance runners, the
last training dates will be 29th and 31st March 2005.
Training
will recommence on Tuesday 5th April 2005 at Hardley School

Social Secretary’s Report

Team Manager’s Report
In cross country, Hayley Pointer was the
Under 17 Women’s
overall winner. Stephanie Smallwood won the New Forest Schools
Under 13 Girls’ Cross Country Championships. Five athletes
represented Hampshire at the Inter Counties Championships,
Alice Cole, Hayley Pointer, Laura Pankhurst, Charlotte Bates
and Jade Davies.
At the English Schools competition in Nottingham,
New Forest athletes included Hayley Pointer, Laura Pankhurst
and Charlotte Bates. There are three athletes going to the
Inter Counties Years 7s and 8s competition in Kent.
The Club had a very successful season in cross country.
We have four teams going to the National Road Relays in
Birmingham.
We need to replenish our stocks of vests.
Cross Country
Hampshire Championships Under 17 Women – Bronze
medallists in the team event. There are definitely two athletes
from the Club (and possibly four) competing in the Inter Counties
competition at Nottingham.
There are six athletes from the Club going to the Schools
Inter Counties competition.

Development Plan 2004
We are continuing to improve our links with Senior Schools
in the area. Primary Schools links are very good
There was a very successful New Forest Schools cross country
competition, which the Club helped to organise. There were
215 finishers in the competition.
Any Other Business
Dave Mcmanus is still awaiting Wessex League information.

We are going to support the creation of a
new Club at Poulner, which will commence on 13th April 2005.
