to our latest newsletter. Yet another great news month as the club has completed with three league fixtures at Southampton, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight as well the Schools district and county championships. Congratulations to those who won district titles at Bournemouth in May.

• Hampshire Schools Championships.

Another vintage year for club members who represented their districts this year. There were wins for Rory in the inter boys triple jump, Zara in the inter girls long jump, Chrissy in the inter girls high jump and Charlotte in the senior girls 3000m. Well done to everyone who took part and supported your districts.

• Young Athletes League.

We are maintaining our good start to the season with third placings at Portsmouth and Southampton.

• Match result at Portsmouth:

Chichester 685, Team Dorset 679.5, New Forest 393, Winchester 306, Havant 290, Eastleigh 264 and Fleet 68.

• Match result at Southampton:

Chichester 808, Team Dorset 670.5, New Forest 365.5, Winchester 344, Eastleigh 253, Havant 240 and Fleet 240.

• Wessex League.

Our annual trip to the Isle of Wight produced one of best results to date with a great second place and the opportunity to go through to the cup final next month on the Isle of Wight. The day was completed with a trip down to the seafront at Sandown and a swim followed by fish and chips!!!

Isle of Wight 608, New Forest 325, Basingstoke 320, Portsmouth 318, Poole 308 and Eastleigh 194.

New Forest School Sport partnership at www.nfssp.co.uk. Our club is working very closely with with the partnership and hopes to improve our links with all the schools, both Junior and Senior in the New Forest. It’s worth a visit.
