Welcome to our latest club newsletter.  We’ll try and keep you up to date and informed of what’s going on in the club, future events, achievements and lots lots more. We’ll publish every month so don’t be too disappointed if something you want published isn’t. Just let us know and we’ll put it in next month.

to our final edition of the newsletter for 2007. I hope you all had a nice Christmas and we’ll be back at Noadswood School on Tuesday 8th January 2008. Congratulations to Chrissy Parsons who finished off her wonderful year with fourth place in a schools home international multi events meeting in Glasgow on Dec 9th.

Cross Country Results.

The club has competed in four meetings so far and the results are listed below. Turnout has been low to date. However, at Salisbury our under thirteen girls team were second overall. Our next meeting is the county championships at Dibden Enclosure on Saturday 5th January. Many of our athletes competed for their schools recently at the district schools championships.

Inter Girls. Steph Smallwood 2nd and Jess Martin 25th. 

Inter Boys. Chris Barton 27th. 

Junior Girls. Sophie Baker 4th, Harriet Hoare 5th, Charlotte Bouchard 13th and Emily Shore 30th.

U13 Boys. Dylan Knight 2nd and Jack Hawkins 4th. 

U13 Girls. Tyler Hole 1st, Georgia Morris 2nd, Eli Gennings 6th, Rhianne Drakeley 7th, Beth Whiting 10th and Maddie Eardley 13th.  

The club wishes everyone the best for 2008. We have plenty of competition planned for next year including our annual trip to the Isle of Wight and subject to confirmation, a match at Eton!!

Don't forget our skittles evening at Ashlett Creek on Saturday 26th January. Tickets available at next training evening.

New Forest School Sport partnership at www.nfssp.co.uk. Our club is working very closely with with the partnership and hopes to improve our links with all the schools, both Junior and Senior in the New Forest. It’s worth a visit.
