Welcome to our latest club newsletter.  We’ll try and keep you up to date and informed of what’s going on in the club, future events, achievements and lots lots more. to our last newsletter of the year. I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very happy Xmas and New Year. Thank you for all the support you have given the club. I’m hoping next year will be a defining year for the club with big improvements planned for the training facilities at Noadswood.

Hampshire Cross Country League

After our successes at the last match, things did not necessarily go to plan at Overton. Despite everyone running well, Jamie was 30 with Freddy 34, Stephen 39 and Tom 48. For the girls, Georgia was 17 and Alix 42. The boys team are currently 9th overall. Our next meeting is at Reading on Jan 3rd. Detailed results can be obtained from the Hampshire AA website. Jamie and Georgia however had great wins for their school in the New Forest Schools XC championships.

Xmas Party

I hope everyone enjoyed the Xmas fun and games evening. Big vote of thanks to Jess, Stephanie, Sharon, Lindsay, Catherine and Marcus for organising and running the games.

Skittles and Presentation Evening

Details of our presentation evening will be should be available soon. We’ll let know where and when just as soon as it’s confirmed.

Training 2009

Training will commence at Noadswood on Tuesday 6th January then continue as normal through until the end of term.

Sportshall

Although we rarely compete as a club several of our coaches were at the New Forest Primarily Schools Champs at Applemore recently helping out and promoting the club’s activities.

New Forest School Sport partnership at www.nfssp.co.uk. Our club is working very closely with with the partnership and hopes to improve our links with all the schools, both Junior and Senior in the New Forest. It’s worth a visit.
