Hello. I hope everyone all had a great holiday and you are all looking forward to resuming training in September. At this stage, training is planned to continue outside with the U11s having use of the sportshall. See you all in September!!!
Club Picnic
The club will be holding a picnic at Hilltop (there’s a pub, Royal Oak, there as well for the parents!!) on Saturday 19th September. Just take the B3054 from the Heath roundabout. Providing the weather is kind, please come along for a couple of hours with a picnic to celebrate the club’s ten years plus winning our league. We originally planned a BBQ, but due to cost and weather implications, it was decided this year to hold a picnic instead. Hopefully we can have a nice social event with a few games etc. All are welcome. Starts at 1pm. Any ideas will be gratefully received.
Georgia Morris
We are very sorry to lose Georgia, who has moved to Winchester. We wish her all the best with her new training partners (Winchester A C). However, she plans to continue to compete for the Juniors, so we’ll still see her on a regular basis.
Tee-shirts and club vests
Our stocks of tee-shirts are now complete. If you require one or need another size, just see Cathy who brings a selection along at training.
New members
The club always welcomes new athletes. If you know of anyone seriously interested, just ask them to contact Tim or come along to one of our training sessions for a free “taster”.
That’s All Folks
New Forest School Sport partnership at www.nfssp.co.uk. Our club is working very closely with with the partnership and hopes to improve our links with all the schools, both Junior and Senior in the New Forest. It’s worth a visit. |
