Well done to all the athletes who turned for our final UKA Young Athletes League match of the season. By winning the match it gave the club its first league title ever.
UKA Young Athletes League
As mentioned above we secured yet another great result at Winchester. It was another superb all round performance by everyone, again to numerous to mention. In addition, we were able to put out a virtually full team by our standards. This gave us a comfortable victory by more than 200 points. Match result. New Forest Juniors 350, Fleet & Crookham 141, Havant 140 and Guernsey/Jersey 0.
Final league table. 1.New Forest Juniors 14 pts, Havant 12, Fleet & Crookham 8 and Guernsey/Jersey 3.
Wessex Young Athletes League.
We were up against again several of the strongest teams in the league and despite many good individual performances; we again had to settle for last place by only a few points. However, we did quite well in some of the age groups. At the time of going to press, it looks like we’ll finish 4th in the U17 women and 6th in the U13 boys. The league however gave us some great competition and super days out (who will forget the trip to the Isle of Wight!).

Planning permission has finally been approved and the club is delighted to be considered one of the school’s main community clubs. The club is currently examining its options with regard to how the club can best use the facilities and will report back in due course.
